Coldplay - Viva La Vida

I always found Coldplay's music interesting and... different from anything else i've ever heard. Songs like "Yellow", "The Scientist", "Speed Of Sound", "Fix You" and "Clocks" quickly became hits and were, in short time from their appearance in top of the charts from all over the world.

After three great albums ("Parachutes", "A Rush Of Blood To The Head", "X&Y"), they released in june their fourth album: "Viva la Vida or Death And All His Friends". In an interview for "Entertainment Weekly" Chris Martin, the band's vocalist said:

We're slightly terrified about this record, because we've thrown away all our tricks. The truth is, we tried to find new ones.
I think they had nothing to worry about. Most of the songs are simply perfect! My personal favorites are "Viva La Vida", "Strawberry Swing", "Cemeteries Of London", "Lost" and "Violet Hill". These are all the tracks:
  1. Life In Technicolor
  2. Cemeteries Of London
  3. Lost!
  4. 42
  5. Lovers In Japan/Reign Of Love
  6. Yes
  7. Viva La Vida
  8. Violet Hill
  9. Strawberry Swing
  10. Death And All His Friends
